Los Gatos is a popular city surrounded by other attractive neighborhoods. It sits on the southwest corner of San Jose and is located among the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Although it has a bit of a small town feel to it, it spans 11 square miles of suburban terrain and hosts about 30,000 residents. Los Gatos’ downtown area has a classy, sophisticated while maintaining its small-town feel. In many ways it has retained its historical image, saving Victorian-era buildings and boutique stores throughout half centuries. On some major intersections, you will see some medium sized, pedestrian-friendly shopping centers which provide convenient, upscale dining and antique stores. Los Gatos has top-notch schools within the city’s limits. For young families, it provides a few top ranked elementary schools, one middle school and the famous Los Gatos High School which lies in the heart of Los Gatos. Much like Willow Glen, Los Gatos has a certain prestige that goes along with its name.
An upscale neighborhood with affluent roots.
Los Gatos hosts a couple of events like Music in the Park and The July 4th Celebration.
